The relationship between a coach and a client is Co-creative, meaning that we are equals and both have an active role. I am not a therapist, counselor or consultant. I am a trained coach using communication skills to support you as a detached thinking partner. Together we create more power for you to affect meaningful change and take dynamic actions towards your goals.
History of Coaching
Coaching is not a new discipline. It has become widespread over the past 10 years. Consumers have been acquiring coaches in the avenues of financial, spiritual, business and life issues over the past 5 years. Coaching is the art of bringing out the greatness in people while honoring the integrity of the human spirit. It is both an innate human instinct and a teachable skill.
Coaching is a combination of several developmental areas dating as far back as the 1950's. In the late 1980's coaching emerged as a popular profession. Coaching branched out from the business sector and since has been recognized by several universities, including Georgetown University and the University of North Carolina.
Coaching has emerged as individuals attain their financial and professional goals and they realize they are not fulfilled. Coaches have been sought out to help them realize their full personal.
Personal Coaching
Personal Coaching is a way for you acheive your most fulfilled self. Coaching assists clients in becoming who they are deep inside. Sessions are led by the client and directed by the coach to contribute to the client finding their inner wisdom. Revalation of your inner wisdom is the magic found in the process.
